The
PADI Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest non-professional
certification one can earn. When you have achieved this certification
you will have been trained in 5 different types of diving
or diving activities. Why limit yourself and only do one
type of diving? The specialty certifications that are offered
in the Master Scuba Diver program will expose you to new
and exciting types types of diving such as; Digital Photography,
Underwater Videography, Drift Diving, Wreck Diving and Enriched
Air Diving. Along with earning the five specialty certifications
you must also be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver. This certification
is not a pre-requisite to taking the specialty programs but
you must have it to be crowned a "Master SCUBA Diver"
Most of the specialty dives are done on request so there
is no set schedule to this course. You can complete one specialty
per week, month, or year. There is no time limit from start
to finish. This is a very flexible course and a great way
to gain experience while diving under the supervision of
an instructor. Most specialties will require that you make
2 open water dives and complete a knowledge review . There
are a few specialties that do not require dives to be made.
These are great to take during the winter months when the
water is cold locally. Call us to find out about doing your
specialties this coming dive season.
