For over 20 years we have been proudly selling the Scubapro equipment line. We feel Scubapro produce some of the most innovative products in the industry. Their products are often copied but the quality and performance that make Scubapro one of the top equipment manufacturers in the industry is never duplicated.

Having a choice is always important so we do carry equipment from other industry leaders such as: Cressi-Sub, Atomic, Whites, DUI, Poseidon, Dive Rite, OMS, Henderson, Oneill, UK, Princeton Tec, and many others.

Our store is well stocked with a large variety of accessories for all types of diving. Whether you're a photographer, wreck diver, spear fisherman, or just like to escape underwater every now and then we have the equipment you need to enjoy your activity of choice.

Since we are a small store with a small staff you can be assured that you will receive quality instruction when you sign up for one of our educational programs. Our store has employed only two instructors through its 22 year history. With over a combined 50 years of experience teaching people how to dive you don't have to worry about the credentials of your diving instructor.

At School of Fish we proudly offer PADI certification and experience programs to anyone from age 8 and up! We are one of only 3 scuba schools on Long Island to meet the requirements enabling us to offer the PADI National Geographic certification program.

At School of Fish we can handle just about any equipment repair you can throw at us. Our repair technician has been with us since 1984 and has been certified to do repairs on most major brands of diving equipment. We are happy to service any brand of regulator, bcd or valve regardless of where you purchased it. Our average turnaround time on a repair is one week but faster service is available at a slightly higher rate.

Some of our services are: Regulator Overhauls • BCD Inspection • Tank Hydro's and Tumbling • Valve Overhauls • Dry Suit Seal Replacement and Valve Repair • Oxygen Cleaning of tanks and regulators

These days it isn't enough to just offer plain old air fills to your customers. With more and more local divers getting into wreck and tec-diving you have to at least be able to fill a tank with Nitrox. At School of Fish we not only offer Air and Nitrox fills, but also can fill your tanks with Tri-Mix (if you are a certified Tri Mix Diver) pure 02 for decompression,(if you have an advanced Nitrox certification) and we even have Argon for dry suit inflation.

Our partial pressure blending is equipped with a booster pump which enables us to remix any blend of Nitrox to your specification. when you pick up your tanks you will be able to verify your mix using one of our oxygen analyzers.
 
Of course if you are only going beach diving in shallow water we do still offer regular air fills. And you can be assured that our air is clean, we send it out to a lab for testing every 3 months.

Travel is a big part of diving. Although we have some great dive sites here on Long Island, some divers prefer to do their diving in exotic locations like the south Pacific, or closer to home in the waters of the Caribbean.

At School of Fish we can help you plan the trip of your dreams to the tropical Island of your choice. We can book your airfare, accommodations at your destination, and your dive package. Of course you could always just sign up for one of our very popular group trips. We usually run from 2 to 4 trips per year and travel with a group of between 16 and 36 individuals.
