What we do at School of Fish

School of Fish is an aquatic facility located on Long Island in New York. We offer swimming lessons, scuba lessons, freediving instruction, water fitness classes, lifeguard and WSI training in our indoor heated salt water pool. We also have a complete scuba retail store providing air and mixed gas fills plus equipment repairs.

    We offer American Red Cross Lifeguard, WSI, CPR and AED training multiple times throughout the year.

    If you live on Long Island and you do not know how to swim why not learn how? We teach all ages (children must be potty-trained, swim diapers are not permitted). All of our instructors are Red Cross WSI certified.

    Getting your PADI open water scuba certification has never been easier. We use the PADI eLearning system which allows you, the student to learn at your own pace when and where you want.
